Mara’s experience in customer service and management and her detail-oriented mindset aids her in providing excellent communication to our agency’s customers. She helps keep projects on track and coordinates research, media, and effective marketing strategies.
Originally from East River, SD, Mara’s family moved to Rapid City when she was still young, so she considers herself from West River. Mara attended and graduated from Black Hills State University with a BA in English and a minor in TESL. This allowed her to follow her dream of joining the JET Program USA, where she taught English in rural Japan for many years. Since then, she has lived in Colorado working for Amazon logistics and communications. She recently moved back to Rapid City because of her love for the Black Hills.
In her free time, she loves to collect new interests. A few that have stuck through the years are travel, the culinary arts, paper crafting, concerts, and playing indie dev games. Mara loves to relax after a long day with her two tabby cats Matisse and Rui.
