Allie Geier-Barlow, Senior Marketing Strategist

Allie Geier-Barlow

Allie is a multi-faceted marketing professional with years of experience in both creative and strategic roles. Allie can be considered a jack-of-all-trades, starting her career focusing on the creative side as a photographer, videographer, and graphic designer. And in recent years, she has expanded her expertise into the strategic side, with project management, marketing strategy, and content creation. Allie is a huge advocate for marketing in the region and is dedicated to serving businesses in the Midwest.

Originally from the east side of South Dakota, Allie moved westward to earn two bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Graphic Design from Black Hills State University. During her time in school, she was also heavily involved with the photography program, marketing club, and business clubs.

When she’s not working, Allie loves to stay busy. Currently, she’s serving as the 1st Vice President of AAF Black Hills, the local advertising chapter, and will take on the President role in July. You can also find her outdoors hiking or camping, spending time with her husband, fur children, and family, taking photos, or exploring the Black Hills.

What Midwest Marketing value resonates with you?

“Marketing is always moving forward, and so are we.” It’s incredibly important to change with the times, no matter what industry you’re in. This value shows me that here at Midwest Marketing, we’re prepared to learn and grow—and we’re ready for what’s ahead.

Life & Work as a Protagonist.

Protagonists (ENFJ-T) feel called to serve a greater purpose in life. Thoughtful and idealistic, ENFJs strive to have a positive impact on other people and the world around them. These personalities rarely shy away from an opportunity to do the right thing, even when doing so is far from easy.

When I am not at work, you can find me…

…outside in the beautiful Black Hills, hanging out with my husband, my cats, my dog, and my bearded dragon, OR taking photos.

If you had a superpower but only use it once a month, what would it be?

I’d LOVE to be able to teleport. Wouldn’t it be nice to pop over to Italy for a day and enjoy some good food?
