Jenny Borton, Art Director

As Art Director at Midwest Marketing, Jenny has a strong passion for captivating an audience through design, developing powerful creatives that enhance brands and their message.

Since she was a child, Jenny has had the desire to create. With an endless passion for the arts, Jenny began to experiment with photo, digital art, and video editing software programs in middle school. She pursued her new ambitions by obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from Black Hills State University in 2015 with a Minor in Art.

While graphic design is her specialty, Jenny also has experience with video production, digital marketing, web design, social media, and content creation. In 2024, Jenny received a Silver Addy at the American Advertising Awards for her work with Firehouse Brewing Co. on their Beer Cans packaging campaign.

If you happen to catch Jenny out of her creative endeavors, you will most likely see her running to keep up with her two rambunctious boys (and two dogs!). She also enjoys tackling her next DIY home improvement project with her husband, catching up on shows, books, or video games, and trying out new hobbies!

Inspiring Quote

“The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.” —Mitch Albom

Life and work as an Advocate (INFJ)

Advocates (INFJs) may be the rarest personality type of all, but we certainly strive to leave our mark in the world. Idealistic and principled, we aren’t content to coast through life – we want to stand up and make a difference. For Advocate personalities, success doesn’t come from money or status, but from seeking fulfillment, helping others, and being a force for good in the world. We live to embrace our creative side, always on the lookout for opportunities to express ourselves and think outside the box. Rather than living on autopilot or sticking to the status quo, we want to chase after our ideals. This isn’t a personality type that shies away from big dreams – in fact, we are energized and impassioned by the beauty of our visions for the future. The most rewarding work allows us to help others while also growing as a person.
